David D. Hoffman was born in Saginaw in 1963. He received his Bachelor's of Science degree from Michigan State University in 1985 and received his Juris Doctorate from DePaul University in 1988. In 1986, David received the American Jurisprudence Award in criminal law.

David is a member of the American Bar Association, the State Bar of Michigan and the Saginaw County Bar Association, where he has served on the Board of Directors. In 2000, David served as President of the Saginaw County Bar Association.

David has trial practice in all state and federal courts and is a certified adoption attorney. David represents both individuals and small business and his firm emphasizes the plaintiff's perspective.
